I found Jena Rae when I was 30 weeks pregnant, searching for a newborn photographer. As a first time mom I was nervous about being able to get my newborn to cooperate for photos, or how to choose a “theme” for my session. Prior to meeting, Jena Rae answered every one of my emails, and helped execute my vision into reality. When I arrived at the studio Jena Rae was professional, but also very personable. We laughed trying to fit my 9 pound son into a little toy truck bed, but she still got the job done; and the pictures turned out better than I could have imagined.
Since my newborn shoot in October 2016, I have booked an Easter mini session, 1st birthday cake smash, Fall family mini session, and taken part in her micro mini sessions. Each session Jena Rae continues to exceed my expectations, and works so beautifully with my son who is now a toddler (and we all know toddlers have minds of their own when it comes to cooperating).
Jena Rae has captured the most significant events in my life as well as the changes my son has made in his first years of his life, and I am forever grateful to her for that. I can’t wait to see what she captures for my family in the future!
